I am a high school student at Miami Palmetto Senior High School as well as a sports and event photographer. Although sports is my specialty, I have done countless events, at one point doing almost one a week and I would say I have a knack for candid shots. I think that a photographers job should not be about the money, but it should be about the love for taking the photo. Come and take a look through my lens and see if I fit the job.

For me, getting into photography was not a planned thing at all. I started my photo journey as a multimedia photo editor for my schools newspaper. At the time, I was only shooting for my assignments and didn’t do anything else. On the first day of my older sister’s lacrosse season, I decided to go with the school provided camera and shoot the game for fun. I made my Instagram account just to post photos and never expected the fast progression that ensued. Every game, every play, every time I clicked that shutter button, I become more engulfed in this amazing world of photography. A huge contributing factor to my knowledge of cameras and settings was my summertime internship at Pitman Photo Supply, a photographic supply company in Palmetto Bay, Florida. They helped me decide my next pieces of equipment, all of which were used to take the photos above. I truly believe that if you do what you love and you get good at it, the success will follow. I think for me, photography, while an unexpected venture, was one of the key turning points in my young life so far and I think with a good foundation, the sky is really the limit.
